Touchdown

Well, it's been a long time coming, but I've finally arrived in Japan. I'm living in an apartment building subsidised by my university (Keio University). So far I've met a Brit, a Singaporean, two French Canadians, three Germans (maybe one of them is Austrian...) and two Aussies.

You might be surprised to know that, when I arrived and met some of them in the lounge, they were watching...Neighbours! (Not the Australian people.) They asked me if I ever watched it...Wow, it seems like it's almost more popular overseas. I thought, "Oh no, this is going to make me miss Australia already!" (Not that I watch Neighbours.)

Anyway, more pictures will come soon, but I've gotta have a shower. I haven't had a shower since Sunday morning, and it's now Tuesday morning. My hot water in my room hadn't been switched on, so naturally it wasn't heating anything!
