Hey hey!

Well, it's been a few days, but I'm back at the keyboard. There have been some interesting things happening. One story is my bank-accounting-opening odyssey. I went to two different local banks, and they both wouldn't let me open an account because I didn't have a stamp. (You see, in Japan, people don't really use signatures that much; they have stamps with their family name on them, like a seal.) That was quite stressful for a day, but the next day, instead of going there, I went to one of the same banks, but a different branch , this time in Shibuya (my favourite place in Tokyo. It's a very popular shopping spot: Apparently it has the world's biggest Starbucks, a 7-floor-high Tower Records, and a sweet Yamaha Music shop). So now, I have a Japanese bank account! I get my ATM card soon. They let you choose your card style: There were a couple of ordinary ones, but then there was one with Winnie the Pooh and friends on it. I couldn't resist!

Also, I went to a park today. It was one of those parks where you pay a small fee to get in. (About 2 bucks.) And, the catfish wanted to say hi to everybody back home:
Anyway, here are some more pictures:

Anyway, I don't want to clog your computers with too many pictures! Classes start for me on Monday. I have my first piece of homework! (I'm really lucky, because heaps of people I know have Saturday morning classes!)
